About us

A young six-member pop rock band from Tynec nad Sazavou plays solely in English. Although it may seem that the Czech music scene is not a place for an English singing band, it is precisely the opposite and the band is increasingly popular.

In May 2018 our song Unexpected was added in to rotation of Europe 2 radio. Seven weeks was at the top of the E2 Music Chart, 4 times on the very top. At the same time, it became the 7th of the top 25 most popular radio songs in 2018. Along with the more recent single Hope You Know she is the first song of the upcoming TOTHESTARS album to be released this year.

The latest song Letters followed her “older sister” Unexpected and from February 2019 you can hear it again in the broadcasting of Europe 2. The music video, which was shot on this occasion in London, was released on 28th March 2019. Letters is currently on the top of the Music Chart in Czech.

The biggest success for us so far is the 3rd place for Best new act of the year by the Zebrik Awards. By the Evropa 2 Music awards we have been nominated for the Best new act of the year 2018, at the same time we received a New artist’s special award.

They said about us

“Maybe you haven’t heard of Czech It yet, but it will change soon. The six-member band from Týnec nad Sázavou has an incredible journey from Sázava Children’s Home to the upcoming debut albums #Tothestars.”

EVROPA 2

“But the Bakerman had a separate concert. He was supported by a talented Czech It group from Týnec nad Sázavou, who won thanks to favorable fans in the competition announced by Pekař before the tour began. Pleasant alternative pop, which looks at vocals of pianist Lucie Konečná and violinist Rút Škvorová, a little reminder of the famous British sibling group The Corrs, but in the good sense. They gave one song to a children’s home in Sázava, where singer Daniel Marczell is an educator. They added that no dream is impossible.”
